Sleep Out 2026

One Night Outside. A Lifetime of Impact.

This year, St. Joseph the Worker is proud to partner with Homeless ID Project and fellow human services organizations across the Valley for Sleep Out 2026—a community-wide effort to raise awareness and critical funding for individuals experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty.

For one night, participants will sleep outside to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges thousands of our community members face every day. While one night cannot replicate the realities of homelessness, it can create awareness, inspire compassion, and generate resources that help people move from crisis to stability.

Thanks to a generous donor, every dollar raised will be matched up to $25,000, helping us reach our goal of $50,000.

Watch to see what last year's Sleep Out looked and felt like for The Worker's CEO, Carrie Masters:

Why It Matters

At St. Joseph the Worker, we know that employment and housing are powerful pathways out of poverty. The funds raised through Sleep Out 2026 will support individuals and families as they work toward self-sufficiency through job readiness training, employment connections, transportation assistance, case management, and transitional housing.

One night outside. $50,000 raised. 50 lives transformed.

Together, we can provide 50 individuals with 90 days of stable housing and the essential life skills training they need to build lasting stability.
